One of the original members of the band Lee started with classical piano lessons before studying jazz piano and further music theory at Goldsmiths University. He had played in various bands before joining Cover Up Band in 2001 and brought with him a unique style of chord progressions and harmonies.

Influences include Fritz McIntyre (Simply Red), Mike Garson (David Bowie) and Roy Bittan (E Street Band). Lee uses Korg, Alesis and Roland equipment.
